Laura and Tim recently moved abroad for work, but came all the way back from Europe to get married in front of family and friends for a Wisconsin winter wedding.  They chose a traditional Catholic ceremony, and the celebration continued with a cocktail party and dinner at the always-spectacular Discovery World in Milwaukee. The couple and wedding party were tough cookies, and seemed to have little problem facing the cold for some fantastic winter wonderland shots! After warming up with some adult beverages, the wedding-goers had dinner at their  travel-themed tables -- each named by a location where Laura and Tim had lived or visited -- and some fantastic speeches began. Our favorite speech came from Laura’s young niece, which was surprisingly funny and touching. We wish Tim and Laura all the best on starting out their married life in Salzburg!

Eric + Lizzie Wed // The Loop // Chicago, Illinois

Eric and Lizzie met ten years ago at a college Halloween party, and have been together ever since. They tied the knot in a small courthouse wedding in Chicago, and asked us to help commemorate the occasion. We started with family portraits and some shots at the Chicago Cultural Center (an art-deco bonanza!), and the couple braved some brutal sub-zero temperatures on State Street and on the Chicago River. We capped off the afternoon (and warmed up!) with some final shots at the mid-century/modern Viceroy Chicago.  

Later that night, Eric and Lizzie celebrated with dinner and cocktails surrounded by close family and friends at the swanky Nico Osteria in the Gold Coast.  It was a real pleasure to meet this stylish and adventurous couple, and we hope they had a great time on their honeymoon in India and Sri Lanka!
