Kara & Andrew's Family Session // West Loop // Chicago, IL

We had a great time with Kara and Andrew at their maternity shoot this summer, so we were excited (and honored) when they asked us to take some pictures of their three-month old daughter Brooklyn!  As usual, Kara had some amazing props, like Christmas lights, a fur rug, and cute outfits, but the best part of the photos was, of course, crazy-adorable baby Brooklyn and her fabulous head of hair.  Kara and Andrew made it clear that while parenthood could be tough, it was definitely worth it, and their love for their little baby was palpable. Such a lovely family!

Chicago Family Holiday Session // The Loop

When Matt and Amber asked us to take their Christmas card photos at two of the coolest old buildings in Chicago -- Harold Washington Library and Union Station -- we had to say yes! Little Miriam and Oliver are very smiley and take great pictures (when you can wrangle them). Things got a little derailed when Oliver burned his hand on a library heater, but he’s cute even when he’s pouting. He also fell asleep by the time we got to Union Station, but that didn’t stop us from snapping some pics! Thanks for the awesome idea guys!
