Kara & Andrew's Family Session // West Loop // Chicago, IL

We had a great time with Kara and Andrew at their maternity shoot this summer, so we were excited (and honored) when they asked us to take some pictures of their three-month old daughter Brooklyn!  As usual, Kara had some amazing props, like Christmas lights, a fur rug, and cute outfits, but the best part of the photos was, of course, crazy-adorable baby Brooklyn and her fabulous head of hair.  Kara and Andrew made it clear that while parenthood could be tough, it was definitely worth it, and their love for their little baby was palpable. Such a lovely family!

Sabrina & Nick's Family Session // Lincoln Park // Chicago, IL

It turned out to be a beautiful late afternoon day when we arrived in Lincoln Park for a family photo shoot with Nick and Sabrina and their three kids. This family was a breeze to shoot. The older kiddos had no problem hamming it up for the camera, and had a great time playing along with Chris’s (completely made up) game of yelling out random food-related words (instead of “cheese!”). The new baby even hung in there for some adorable photos with barely a whimper of protest!
