Some months ago, MaryPat and Steve had some news. Not only was MaryPat pregnant, but she was having TWINS! We initially decided to shoot the expecting couple at the Garfield Park Conservatory to avoid the winter chill (and for the wonderful scenery!), but MaryPat and Steve agreed to brave the cold to take some additional photos around the nearby fieldhouse. We couldn't be happier for them! We can't wait to meet the girls!
Kara and Andrew are expecting their first child in a few short weeks. But before baby Brooklyn arrives, this beautiful couple -- and their adorable bow-tied pup -- wanted to capture their love, and their excitement for the next chapter of their lives. They chose a lovely early summer evening for a photo shoot, and Montrose Harbor - with the lake, skyline views and bird sanctuary - was just the spot for the occasion! Kara had tons of fun photo ideas (pineapples! dog clothes! baby shoes!), and both were game for any shot that popped into our heads. We're so excited for them, and honored they asked us to document this important moment.
